Kim’s depth of experience includes senior corporate and government public affairs management positions with national and international companies, managing his own consulting firm, teaching PR in university courses, business coaching, and becoming CEO of a non-profit organization.
Starting out with a BA degree in English, he became skilled in communication planning, persuasion and influence techniques, employee communication and recognition, issue and crisis management, stakeholder relations management and sponsorship.

Making a professional contribution
A longstanding member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Kim was elected state president and a national board member for 3 years. He was elected a Fellow of the institute in 2007, a high honor awarded to members who have achieved distinction in the profession.
Kim ran the successful PRIA professional development program in his state for 7 years. He is author of a 900-page university textbook, Strategic Public Relations, published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2011.
Contributing actively to the community, Kim also used his marketing communication and management skills as part-time CEO of nonprofit organization Crime Stoppers Limited in Western Australia in 2014-16.
